Production is underway on the highly anticipated update to the 1959 animated classic Sleeping Beauty – and Angelina Jolie is more than ready to take on the roll of Disney villain favorite, evil sorceress Maleficent. This live-action movie won’t be focusing on the slumbering princess, but instead shows us what it is that led Maleficent to become the wicked witch we know her as today. We can’t wait to start seeing more  pictures surface – especially any of Angelina’s costar, Elle Fanning, who will be playing the part of the angelic princess Aurora (how perfect is she for that part?! ) Don’t get too excited yet, there is still a fairly long wait for this one. The 3-D live action prequel isn’t expected to come out until March 14, 2014.
