Christian Dior is embracing 50′s ultra-femme elegance and bringing back his most classic and memorable styles in his Spring 2012 Couture Collection. The amazing silhouettes are iconic Dior more modernly done up in layers of see-through chiffon, organza, gauze, and croc-stamped leather.

In my eyes, a t-shirt is meant to be a basic or worn if it has something exceptionally amusing or amazing on it. This is neither. Yet it is the world’s most expensive t-shirt, retailing for about $400,000. Seems like a bargain right? (Sorry there was no font for sarcasm.) Whether you think it’s ridiculously high priced or not, the shirt isn’t just boasting a high price – it’s also boasting how environmentally conscious it is.
The site explains, “This one of a kind luxury product has been made using only renewable energy sources (for example Wind & Solar power) and represents a C02 reduction of 90% compared to traditional t-shirt production. The garment itself is made from 100% organic cotton…..”
Convinced that it’s worth $400,000 yet? Well don’t forget the diamonds. The spherical pattern is decorated with 16 hand-set diamonds, each promising exquisite color, clarity, cut, and luster. That’s 8 white diamonds each over 1ct, and another 8 “enhanced” black diamonds also each over 1ct each. I don’t know who the target customer really is, but I hope they plan on buying me one too.
Since we are so madly in love with the Etro pants we featured a few days ago but realistically we know splurging on floral printed pants for $696 isn’t always the best option…we thought we’d share of few other favorites we found (printed pants are popping up in every shape and size this season & we’re kind of loving all of them.)
